Eduardo Guzman is the Founder of PMT Productions; he is also the music director for Midtown Live [four]. As MD, he is tasked with selecting music for ML4 and developing reimagined vocal and band arrangements.
Guzman is a full-time pianist, music director, and producer who lives and works in Houston. Over a decade-long career, he has been involved in over 60 musical theater and pop music productions with companies across the Greater Houston Area, including Island ETC (east-end theater company), Main Street Theater, Obsidian Theater, and PMT Productions. Notable credits include "The Rocky Horror Show," "RENT," "Spring Awakening, "tick, tick...BOOM!," "The Who's TOMMY," "A Chorus Line," & "Last Five Years."
In 2014, Guzman founded Pitch Me This (PMT) Productions, a Houston-based production company whose mission is to give artists a voice through live musical theater and commercial music performances. Since then, he has expanded PMT's programming to include PMT Pop Up: Cabaret Series, PMT Production Services, and most recently, PMT Young Artist Series (PMT YAS!).
"Midtown Live is the show that we started the company with, and it perfectly represents PMT's strengths as a music production company and its mission in general! That's why we produce it annually."
Eduardo is part of what makes PMT great! Don't miss you chance to see his hard work pay off in Midtown Live [four]!
